Contest Club Finland is a local and independent club which purpose is to promote Finnish contesting, support contesters and participate in the contests under the club name. Contest Club Finland takes part in club competitions in all the biggest contests. We also sponsor awards to some of the amateur radio contests.
Contest Club Finland was founded on the 24th February 1996 in OH6YF's hotel room during SRAL's annual meeting. The following persons were the founding members: Ari OH1EH, Ville OH1JD, Timo OH1NOA, Ilkka OH1WZ, Jukka OH2MAM, Ville OH2MM, Pasi OH6UM and Harry OH6YF. Today CCF is a big radiosporting family of 200+ members.
CCF publishes a news letter to provide in depth contest information to our members five times a year. And that is in Finnish for now.
